Tuba Habib is a trained brainspotting Mental Health Counselor  with a Limited Permit in the states of New York. She graduated from Alfred University and earned  a Certificate of Advanced Study in Mental Health Counseling. She  attended  CUNY - Brooklyn College where she earned both a Master's degree in Education (school counseling)  in 2019 & a Bachelor's degree in  Psychology with a minor concentration in Human Resources in 2017.

 

She enjoys working with adolescents, adults, and families. Additionally, she has experience working with special needs students, the immigrant community and also college students . She is interested in working with adolescents, young adults, and adults who suffer from anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, anger, self-esteem issues, and substance use. She is  bilingual in English and Urdu.

She  strives to create a warm and welcoming environment for the clients she serves, in order to promote a safe and judgement free space for healing.

She is trained in Brainspotting and uses mindfulness, DBT and  Cognitive Behavioral  therapy and a person centered approach. She is currently receiving supervision under Luckdjyne Neas, LCSW
