Shaquonda Bibbins-Blake, MFT-LP

Shaquonda Bibbins-Blakes is  Marriage and Family therapist with a limited permit who attended Long Island University. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in 2018.

 

She has worked in the field of law enforcement and with non profit organizations for the past twenty years serving various diverse communities. She is well traveled and her experience visiting and volunteering in several countries has helped her to better understand the family dynamic.

 

She is interested in working with children, individuals, couples and families who are experiencing unresolved generational trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, anger, substance abuse and  relationship and marital issues, life transitions and daily life stressors. Her hope is that she can create a warm environment and connect with you in a safe space to help you deal with your current and past struggles. 

 

She uses Gottman, Narrative, Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral  therapy and an emotionally focused approach. She is receiving supervision under Luckdjyne Neas, LCSW. 

 

She is currently accepting new referrals. Sliding scale is available.
