Shannon Brown is a graduate student from Long Island University currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Communications from Berkeley College in 2019.
She has interest in working with individuals, couples, and families who suffer from anxiety, grief, experiencing financial issues, separation, and behavioral and academic issues in adolescents. Her goal is to assist and help provide individuals with the necessary resources and therapeutic comfort needed to tackle the daily stressors of life.
Shannon’s graduate studies comprise of training in modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Structural Family Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples, Gottman Therapy, and Imago Therapy. She is currently under the supervision of Luckdjyne Neas, LCSW.
