Paola Labastida is a graduate student from Long Island University who is currently pursuing her
Masters’ and Licensure in Marriage and Family Therapy. Paola graduated from Iona University
with her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2019.

Paola lives and works in New York City; Paola has worked with a variety of individuals under the
Administration for Children’s Services within the auspices of non-profit organizations as a public
servant for the past 3 years. Serving within that population has allowed her to work within
diverse communities and with diverse populations. This experience has allowed Paola to
comprehend and understand the individuality of each client, familial dynamics and familial
structures. It is Paola’s goal to ensure a safe space for each client.Paola is interested in working with children, couples, families or any marginalized community who struggle from anxiety, depression, anger and unresolved trauma. Paola speaks english and Spanish.
