Luckdjyne Neas, LCSW CASAC

CEO/FOUNDER

Luckdjyne Neas is  a Licensed Clinical Social worker (LCSW) and a Credentialed Alcoholism and substance abuse counselor (CASAC-2) licensed in the states of New York.She is the founder of Neas Mindfulness Therapy, LCSW, PLLC. She received her Masters degree in Social Work  from Fordham University in 2016. She earned her bachelor's degree in Social Work from Lehman College in 2015.

 

Luckdjyne was born and raised in Haiti however moved to the USA at the age of 12 years old. Prior to becoming a therapist, she has worked in various settings, both inpatient and outpatient. Her past work experiences have helped her become an empathetic, caring and nonjudgemental therapist. She is bilingual. She speaks Haitian Creole and English.

 

Her work is supportive and strength based, focused on collaborating with individuals, couples and families to overcome struggles and connect to their inner resources to create change, health and happiness. She creates an open and welcoming environment where she works collaboratively to achieve the individual's  desired goals through a strong therapeutic alliance. She  strongly believes in meeting clients where they are at! It is her  personal and professional interest to help provide you with the tools you need to cope and manage daily stressors, whether it is a sudden change or adjusting to a new norm.

 

She has experience working with people from different cultural backgrounds. Her clients range  from teens to adults experiencing mood and anxiety disorders, work related stress, life transitions, relationship and self-esteem issues, as well as grief, loss, and trauma.

 

Some evidenced based therapeutic approaches that are commonly use include but are not limited to Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Dialectical Behavioral therapy, Mindfulness techniques, Trauma focused CBT  and EMDR (eye movement desensitization reprocessing).
