Kathy earned both a Bachelor's Degree in Media and Communications from SUNY Old Westbury and a Master's degree in School Counseling from Alfred University. Currently, she is pursuing her CAS in Mental Health Counseling from Alfred University. With her diverse background, Kathy brings a unique set of skills and experiences to the table.

 

As a counselor, Kathy prioritizes creating a warm and safe environment where her clients can feel comfortable opening up and exploring their thoughts and feelings. She believes that the therapeutic relationship is a partnership and that her clients are the experts in their own lives. Kathy aims to be non-judgemental and trustworthy and understands that this is a privilege to be invited into someone's life in this way.

 

Kathy's approach is eclectic and grounded, and she is committed to helping her clients achieve their goals in a way that is respectful and empowering. Kathy strives to be culturally competent, recognizing and honoring the unique experiences and perspectives of each individual.
