Gabriella Zink, MHC-LP

Gabriella Zink is a trained EMDR Mental Health Counselor holding a Limited Permit (MHC-LP) in the state of New York. She received her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Gonzaga University in 2021, and a Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing from San Francisco State University in 2015.

Her approach to therapy stems from multiple theories some of which include person-centered, CBT, and solution-focused. She believes that the basis of any treatment is, to begin with building trust and understanding between client and therapist. The client is an active collaborator in the treatment process, so once trust has been established, exploration and utilization of techniques will be used. The techniques range from mindfulness and imagery to positive psychology and goal setting.

She previously held an internship at a private practice working with clients from all ages and backgrounds through mental health therapy and performance consulting to make strides toward creative or athletic goals. Her other experience includes working with college students at a university career center and co-facilitating an open group on suicide loss.

She is interested in working with young adults and middle-aged adults experiencing different life stressors from life transitions, grief, understanding identity, trauma,  career strain, and performance-related goals.
