Jasmine Lawrence is a School Counselor currentowards the Advanced Certificate in
Mental Health. She graduated with her Masters of Science in
Education (School of Counseling) at CUNY Brooklyn College in 2019 and graduated from
SUNY New Paltz in 2017 with her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a concentration in
Human Services. She is Chinese and Dominican and speaks Spanish and English.

She has worked with adolescents with special needs for the past three years and has provided
social-emotional support and college & career advisement. Her desire is to help people of all
ages through their personal, emotional and social journeys especially those who suffer from
anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, substance abuse and trauma.

 

Her goal is to help clients develop their own vision towards success using tools that help to cope with daily stressors.She uses mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral therapy, and a person centered approach with her
clients. Chelsea is currently accepting new clients and offer a sliding scale/low fee.

She is currently under the supervision of Luckdjyne Neas, LCSW.
