Anne- Kenya is a graduate student from Alfred University who is currently pursuing a Certificate of Advanced Study in Mental Health Counseling. She received a Master's degree in Education (school counseling) from Long Island University in 2018. She also earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Saint. Joseph College in 2006.
She has worked in the field of social services for the last decade. She has worked with different populations including: HIV/AIDS, homeless single men, and LGBTQIA. She currently works with young adults ages 16-21 providing social-emotional support, college & career advisement. She is interested in working with adolescents, young adults and adults who suffer from anxiety, depression , self esteem issues, substance use and trauma. Her goal is to assist and help provide you with the tools you need to cope and manage daily stressors.She is trilingual and speaks Haitian Creole, French and English.
She uses mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral therapy and a person centered approach. She is currently receiving supervision under Luckdjyne Neas, LCSW
